Terms of Service

Any and all works carried out by On the Fritz either quoted or otherwise shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions in full. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to read the Terms and Conditions carefully. On the Fritz reserves the right to amend or update Terms and Conditions at any time without providing notice to you.

The client agrees to On the Fritz using their personal information for marketing purposes and gives On the Fritz permission to send out future advertising material.


The rates we charge vary for the type of service, the location of the service and other factors. All quoted works are subject to variations as required and are at the discretion of On the Fritz in order to complete work. Prices are subject to variation without notice. All prices include GST. A minimum of one-hour service is required at the time of booking.

Fees apply if a technician does not obtain easy access to the equipment. Some repairs may take extensive time to repair and will require an additional scheduled appointment to continue the repair work. Some items may not be repaired on site and may have to be returned to the workshop for major repairs; additional fees apply. If parts are not available at time of repair, a call back fee may apply.


After the services are completed, you will be invoiced within 7 days. The client agrees to pay the full invoiced amount within 7 days of the invoice billing date. On the Fritz will email a receipt within 48 hours after payment is received.


Please phone or email (and wait for confirmation) for all cancellations. Excessive cancellations may lead to cessation of services. Please be sure of all dates and times when scheduling the services. The client will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee if cancellation is within 24 hours prior to services being provided.

On the Fritz may cancel services at any time given at least 24 hours’ notice. On the Fritz shall not be liable for any loss or damage what so ever arising from such cancellation.


Technicians shall aim to arrive to the scheduled appointment at the time specified, however there may be a variance of 30 mins to allow for traffic and road conditions.

We may not offer all services needed by the client. In this case, On the Fritz may refer you to the appropriate service, outsource to an independent service with the client’s permission or we may decline the service.

Our service members will not complete services with unsupervised pets or children unless prior agreement has been made.


Due to occupational health and safety, someone must assist the technician with loading and unloading the machine if it is too heavy for one person to move on their own. Delivery is only to the ground floor with no stairs involved. Stairs are difficult areas to access will require at least 2 people and special arrangements must be made, additional fees will apply at our discretion.


On the Fritz will not be liable to you or any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for product liability, personal injury or negligence resulting from use of goods or services supplied to you, or on behalf of you. We do not accept liability for consequential loss, nor for injury or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to misuse, neglect, excessive use, alteration, modification, lack of maintenance of the product. We do not accept liability for loss, injury or damage caused by the use or the product in a manner not designed, recommended not intended by the manufacturer. Whilst care is taken, we will not be directly liable for any loss, theft or damage to any goods. If a problem arises please contact us and we will do our best to remove any issues.

Whilst care is taken by our technicians, we will not be responsible for lost, stolen, damage to goods or damaged caused to the home when work undertaken by the technician takes place.

Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any fire, flood, drought, storm or any other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.

Warranty and Repairs:

Fitness equipment servicing and cleaning will prolong the life of your equipment; however, this will not alter or add to our standard warranty terms and conditions. All work to be deemed non-warranty will be charged on the spot.

Warranty shall be valid for 3 months (unless otherwise stated) from invoice date. Warranty shall only be valid on exact repairs carried out by On the Fritz. Client must provide original invoice for proof of works. The client shall inspect the works on completion and must report any defects to work completed within 48 hours in writing to On the Fritz or any alleged defects or damage. The client shall afford On the Fritz an opportunity to inspect the alleged damage/defect within 7 working days from the date of written notification and give On the Fritz the opportunity to rectify the issue within 14 days.

Warranty includes the labour costs of the technician only and does not include the cost of the parts provided by On the Fritz or otherwise. On the Fritz is not liable for the machine, the parts serviced by On the Fritz or any parts provided to the customer by On the Fritz.

Third Party Providers:

Fees do not include invoices from third party providers. Where we supply any goods or services provided by a third party, we do not give any guarantee, warranty for the quality of the goods or services. The client will be requested to seek compensation for any loss or damage suffered from the third party directly.

Information Provided:

Any information provided by On the Fritz is to be used at the client’s own discretion.

The information contained on the website is provided by On the Fritz in good faith. On the Fritz makes no warranty that this website, any information or ideas contained on this website or any services provided will meet your requirements. Any errors or omissions within information provided are unintentional. All pictures contained within our advertising material are for illustrative purposes only.
